A fun little show were the banter mixed better than the beats.

The Underground Spiritual has been on for about a year. If you're cruising around Montreal in a car with a nice stereo, you can find it up high on the AM dial at 1690 CJLO. When surfing the web, it can be streamed lived at cjlo.com, Saturday nights between 10 and 11 o'clock PM.

The show started off with host, Trin. His goal was to bring fresh music to the stagnant Montreal radio-waves. He brought the educator on to bring out a new dynamism, adding a touch of spice with vinyls live to air. The duo met in a small South shore college radio station and have been reunited to bring you a varied weekly sampling of great tunes.

This is the first recorded show of the pair in action. Enjoy!

Underground Spiritual, with hosts Trin and the Educator, broadcast on February 28, 2009, with special guest Jules Marlowe. It was the Montreal High Lights Festival and the city was out partying in force. Our evening started off in the CJLO studio with this hour long set. It eventually made it out to the streets (public transportation included), where it ended in the wee hours of the morning. That's what happens when the Metro rolls all night long.
